Parents, Pupils and Staff Members at Mill Hill Primary School in Northallerton are celebrating their KS2 attainment score achievements.

Described by Ofsted in their latest review as a learning facility where 'Leaders and governors have developed a true ‘community school’, where parents and pupils feel welcomed and valued and the teachers care so much about the pupils', the school has ranked 13th in tables which compare primary schools’ performance across North Yorkshire.

In 2024, Mill Hill Primary School received an expected overall Reading, Writing and Maths score of 87% which is 26% higher than the national average of 61%.

Mill Hill has gone from strength to strength in recent years, achieving their ‘Good’ Ofsted review, and improving their overall KS2 outcomes so that they are now one of the highest achieving primary schools in the County.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mill Hill pupils have also recently received medals in the Northallerton Schools Swimming Gala and the Cross-Country Running event at Northallerton Leisure Centre showing their sporting prowess too.

Headteacher, Mrs Rebecca Bainbridge, has said of the recent achievements:

“I am so proud of Mill Hill Primary and everything which has been achieved over recent years.  We have the most amazing pupils and school community who work together to bring about positive changes. “

It’s a pleasure to see young people thriving and achieving their fullest potential at Mill Hill Primary School as they continue to Strive for Excellence and provide their community with the highest quality primary education.
